Superficial Peels

Through superficial peels there is temporary improvement of your skin tone and texture. Superficial pigmentary changes lighten up. Acne improves as well, but there is no sustained effect on wrinkling or scarring.

Superficial peels do not lead to a relevant social down-time. Typically there is only good benefit from serial treatments.

We perform superficial peels as using 20% TCA-peeling (trichloracetic acid) or Jessner-Peels (salicylic acid). The peel that best suits your skin will be discussed in our consultation. Typically they are performed in 2 – 4 week intervals. Your home care and UV protection is an integral part of the treatment. We will suggest an individualised UV protection, cosmetics and cosmeceuticals.
