Adolescent Acne

Almost all adolescents suffer from acne to some extent. Acne manifests itself through:

• oily skin
• blackheads and whiteheads
• inflammation
• pus

In roughly 80% of adolescent acne resolves itself without further complication within two years. In 20% it remains after puberty and develops into adult acne.
